The next 5 pictures are the fitting of the septic tank system. Positioning of the septic tanks for the waste was easily done despite the snowfall filling the hole each night. Two 1000 litre tanks were eventually sunk in and plumped into the waste outlets. They have a form of heating to assist with biological action in the colder weather with the return pipes to the liquid solar array passing round the tanks. Removable insulation blankets are fitted under the metal covers.
